Since 1987 Conservative Carolina Baptists has been committed to preserving our Southern Baptist heritage in North Carolina. We recognized the unbalanced leadership of our state convention and began a process to change the status quo. Today we live in a different state. Conservatives are in the majority and moderate churches continue to fade into the sunset.
But our mission is not complete. It has been our passion from the beginning to see churches on fire for Jesus in missions and evangelism. Since this need is still obvious, we have a mandate to step up to the next level.

Who We Are
Conservative Carolina Baptists is a fellowship of loyal Southern Baptist churches, pastors and lay leaders who serve Jesus Christ in North Carolina. The organization is a non-profit ministry dedicated to preserving the Biblical heritage of Southern Baptists in our state. Since our founding in 1987 we have desired to see spiritual renewal in our Baptist State Convention. Missions, evangelism and church planting and church growth are our priorities.
We have sponsored annual rallies and other gatherings to facilitate the fellowship and mission of loyal Southern Baptists in North Carolina. We have encouraged the candidacy of conservatives for our state convention leadership.
The organization has published The Conservative Record for 16 years as an alternative to our state paper, The Biblical Recorder, which has consistently favored the moderate perspective. Copies of articles from previous editions of our newsletter are available on this web site by clicking on "The Conservative Record" on the top navigation bar.
We are a non-profit organization which receives no funds from the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The generous gifts of concerned Baptists and loyal Baptist churches provides the support for the publication of the newsletter, the sponsorship of rallies and the expenses of maintaining this web site. All gifts to CCB are tax deductible. Please mail your donations to:
